Tze Yi (Zee)

Tze Yi or Zee is no stranger to the Salsa scene, having taken it by storm ever since he started dancing Salsa 4 years ago. During this time, he has performed and competed on numerous occasions, locally and abroad. Zee has been teaching for almost 2 years at Attitude Dance Studio specialising in Body Movement/ Isolation and Men's Styling classes. He is also a performer with Salseros With Attitude, Attitude Dance Studio’s Performance Team, where he performed at the West Coast Salsa Congress (Los Angeles) in 2004.

Trained extensively by Güpson Pierre, Artistic Director of Attitude Dance Studio, Zee's impressive and rapid progression in Salsa is not without hard work, determination and lots of practice and drilling in perfecting his body movement, shines and styling which come across so effortlessly and fluidly on the social dance floor and for which he is best known for!

A seasoned competitor, Tze Yi has also garnered quite a few titles under his belt, having won the:

1. Lady Salsa Open Competition (2003)
2. Dance Dynamix Open Salsa Competition (2004)
3. Dancesport Open Salsa Competition (2006)

And placing 2nd for the following:

1. Malaysian Open Salsa Competition (2003)
2. Her World / Citta Bella Salsa Competition (2003)
3. DXO / Union Square Open Salsa Competition (2005)
